Depends: There is debate about ultrasound in pregnancy. until the 1980s Ultrasound was not available, and women still had babies. If there are no problems with the pregnancy, Many suggest a Fetal survey at about 19 weeks. More scanning, only if there is a problem. However, there is a lot of variability in opinion.
