29/male/white healthy. had inner ear issue so dr ran ana and esr. esr normal and ana 1:160 homogeneous. is this very high? he's not concerned but i have to wait month to see rheumatologist. scared!!

Nonspecific: The ANA titer is nonspecific and may or may not be associated with any illness or has anything to do with your inner ear issue You should consider consulting an otologist whether you see the rheumatologist or not.

Followup,not anxiety: 5% of healthy people have an ANA 1:160*. With the low prevalence of autoimmune disease in the general population, no symptoms = likely false positive.
