Sinus problems: Sinus problems such as chronic sinusitis can have origins in chronic allergies or blockages of openings to sinus cavities from abnormalities like septal deviation. Treatment can prevent complications & can range from nasal steroids & Neti Pot to antibiotics to surgery, depending on the individual circumstance. It requires history & physical in addition to the CT scan to determine proper treatment

Sinus infection: This could be related to a sinus infection. Some are helped with nasal saline irrigation to clear mucous. Antibiotics may be necessary to treat especially if there is a fever associated with the facial pain/headache. Follow up with your physician.

Mild to moderate scattered paranasal sinus mucosal thickening as above. Leftward nasal septal deviation. I did a ct scan of my sinuses. Had a ct scan before and diagnosed with sinusitis. I still have headaches, so in your opinion.this the cause?

Mri showed sinusitis ethmoid air cells and mucosal thickening frontal as well as sphenoid sinuses. I been dealing with front headaches and eye pain.
Recent CT scan show mucosal thickening in ethmoid sinus. Have balloon sinuplasty scheduled, but curious....symptoms onset coincided with starting to use a Fitibit. Any possibility that they are related (i.e. medial nerve irritant)? Or coincidence?
