Sinus problems: Sinus problems such as chronic sinusitis can have origins in chronic allergies or blockages of openings to sinus cavities from abnormalities like septal deviation. Treatment can prevent complications & can range from nasal steroids & Neti Pot to antibiotics to surgery, depending on the individual circumstance. It requires history & physical in addition to the CT scan to determine proper treatment

Sinus infection: This could be related to a sinus infection. Some are helped with nasal saline irrigation to clear mucous. Antibiotics may be necessary to treat especially if there is a fever associated with the facial pain/headache. Follow up with your physician.
