Could be but: Based on your age OA is not as likely but still possible. This is something that needs a physical exam. there are both neurologic and rheumatologic causes of this type of pain including RA, PA, Carpal tunnel syndrome etc. You need to see your primary care MD

I noticed between my pointer and middle fingers on my right hand was swollen. Not the knuckles but in between them. I do have RA/OA, I didnt eat a lot of salt today. Any ideas? A little on the left hand but more swelling in the right hand.
