No: Generally it is better to clear the bacteria from your bowel without antibiotics. If you are very sixk with high fever or concerns of dehydration you may require IV fluids and antibiotics. If you have other illnesses antibiotics may be necessary. Eating yogurt and using probiotics may help. Recheck a stool sample to insure the Salmonella has cleared.
