Umbilical pain.: Pain inside your navel or umbilicus can be caused by things inside the abdomen, like appendicitis, and umbilical hernia, infected piercing, etc. Please see your physician for a full evaluation including a physical exam.

Internal problem: I agree this is likely due to an internal problem. Could be trapped gas, but also could be due to infection or obstruction of the bowel, or a pulled muscle. See a doctor and have this checked. Good luck!

Infection: usually is a yeast or bacterial infection, where its dark, moist and warm things grow. try over the counter antifungal cream, will likely work, dry well after a shower, antibiotic cream if that doesnt help... any signs of more pain should be seen
