Thyroid, Meds, infec: A sustained heart rate of 132 and chills in an adult does concern me too! Although, you report recent cardiac test to decrease the likeliness of it being cardiac as the primary cause. other cause need to be investigate such as, thyroid, or metabolic causes or even infections. Taking any medications which might cause your symptoms? Work with your doctor to complete the work-up for other causes.
