Not necessarily: Antibiotics take at least 24-48 hours to begin to work. Pneumonia usually gets worse before it gets better. The fevers and aches are your immune system trying to fight it off. Continue the antibiotics, take some antiinflammatories, and if you develop severe chest pain or difficulty breathing, see your doctor again. Hope this helps!
