I have a boil at the bottom of my left butt cheek right where both cheeks meet/overlap. saw my dr, got augmentin, (amoxicillin and clavulanate) doing hot soaks, any other tips?

Follow up care: You're doing everything right so far, but the boil may have other ideas. If it continues to grow, gets more painful or you get a fever, you need follow up. Sometimes, a simple outpatient procedure called an Incision and Drainage is the only way to clear up the problem. However, do not try this at home!
