How can i tell if inguinal hernia is back when i never had a bulge tests didn't show it was discovered by exploratory surgery 10 yrs ago same symp now?

See your doctor.: If there is no visible evidence of a bulge, then an inguinal hernia can only be diagnosed by physical exam or by certain x-rays, such as a CAT scan. If you are having symptoms in that area, I would recommend that you see your doctor. Good luck.
