Can melanoma that spread to lymph nodes be cured ?(head)

Yes!: Melanoma has about 50% probability of cure as long as it has only spread to the regional lymph nodes. The number of nodes affected by tumor will determine the risk of relapse and the odds of achieving cure .

Treatable: Oncologist never really like to use the word cure. I believe what you are asking if there are long time survivors with Stage III melanoma. The 5 year survival rate for Stage III melanoma ranges fro 78% to 40%.
