A member asked:

What oscillations of the hr are considered normal during a 3 mins recording at rest?i mean, my hr variies from 78 to 88 in 3 minutes at rest, normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Oscillations: The heart rate changes with breathing. It is faster when you inhale, slower when you exhale. If you are using a heart monitor, you may find it oscillates with your breathing. When you hold your breath for 10-20 seconds, it may stay consistent, at rest. The heart rates you listed here are both normal, as long as you stay within normal, there is no problem.
