Will heal: Most of the time small perforations of the eardrum will heal over time. If you have already seen an ENT doctor, follow their advice, and if you are still not satisfied, get a second opinion.

Keep the ear dry: 95% of all traumatic perforations heal spontaneously within six weeks as long as they are kept clean and dry. Leave your ear alone.
