How do you flatten a raised scar on forehead?

Keloid?: Some people have a genetic predisposition to large, raised scars called keloids. There is not really any great solution for them. Some doctors try injecting them with steroids or using a laser or scalpel to remove them (and hope it doesn't come back). Moisturizing lotions, oils, vitamin E, etc, might be of some help.
