I have a dermatofibroma on my right cheek. i picked it two months ago, thinking it was a pimple, grew inflamed, took a month to flatten out. i used azelaic acid on it. the scar remained. it has now returned. what can i do about the red raised bump?

See a dermatologist for an exam and possible biopsy. An elliptical incision around the lesion will remove incidence of occurrence.
