Many possibilities f: This may be muscle strain, which is common, especially if you have been exercising especially hard or had an injury. Make sure that you don't have any problems with sensation or strength in that arm. If you do, see your physician. Resting the arm and avoiding positions/movements that make the pain worse may help. If it doesn't improve in several days, or gets worse, see your doctor.
