A member asked:

I was told by a doctor that the reason why my left shoulder makes a pop noise at certain movements is because of decalcification? what is that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See details: Decalcification would not be the proper explanation. That basically implies loss of calcium from bone. He probably meant to say it was due to calcifications but that may also be an incorrect explanation. Popping noises without pain usually mean nothing.
