It can happen: While many women will stop having their periods after an endometrial ablation, the rate of amenorrhea (no periods) is less than 50%). So, it is entirely possible that you may start to menstruate even years after having had an ablation. If it is regular, it is nothing to be concerned about. If it is irregular, extremely heavy or very long, you should see your doctor.
