Ablation: I perform novasure ablation almost exclusively anymore. I tell my patients that about 6-8 weeks after the procedure the burnt tissue from the endometrial lining sloughs off and you have bleeding that it like a period, but its not a period. After that scar tissue forms in place of the lining and then about 86% have no further bleeding. The company says 3 months for this process.

More time: You may need up to six months to see the effect of the ablation and you need an hsg3 months after essureto see that it was effective.
