I was told that i was 5 weeks preg and now spotting my hcg levels are 23 as of mon, the er said the us was to early to tell, am i miscarring?

Maybe: There is a wide range of hcg levels, however it should double every 48-72 hours and 25 is considered regnant. The ultrasound is to early to tell and it is a wait and see thing. I would suggest another hcg on monday. Possibly miscarrying, but cant be sure.

Most likely: I am sorry to say that you may well be miscarrying. The HCG numbers should be much higher. Please see your obstetrician as soon as possible to get the correct dx and treatment.
