You may find : yourself feeling a variety of emotions. I am sorry for your loss. I don't know what your medications are. I wouldn't go off them without discussing with your physician. My biggest question is - how effectively are you grieving? If you feel stuck, consider talking with a pastor, using the support of your family or enlisting the help of a grief counselor. Take care.

Grief: Normal grief can last up to 6 months. However already existing mental illness can be exacerbated by grief leading to breakdown. Grief counseling, family and spiritual support can help deal with loss. Seeing a psychiatrist will help manage pre-existing mental illness. Good luck
