Speak to your doctor: Do you mean trying other medications or other non-medication options? Either way you should speak to your doctor who is prescribing your Concerta. There are some things you can do in addition to/instead of medications and there are other medications. Only your doctor can prescribe other options, so please discuss with him/her.

Whoa Nelly!: Your brain is NOT a ping pong ball - and should not be treated like one. Recommend that dose of concerta be titrated up and they you have an adequate trial before considering a different medication. I MOST STRONGLY DISCOURAGE you from trying all the different options before choosing. This is a little more serious than trying all the different candies in a box of chocolates !!!!!!!!!!!

Speak to your doctor: some people do better on methylphenidate ( Concerta) and others do better on amphetamines (Adderall, Vyvanse). Speak to your doctor about trying an alternative to Concerta. Since these medications only work for the day you take them, it will not take long to experience the effect and compare the different medications.
