No: No interactions identified with others in the selection list. Ask your dr about Ritalin (methylphenidate) , Concerta and stratterra . Why you are taking Ritalin (methylphenidate) 3x/day?
Dr. Heidi Fowler
Psychiatry 25 years experience
Drug interactions: Per the drugs.Com drug interaction checker - use of Ritalin (methylphenidate) can ^ blood levels /effects of Luvox. The fact that there could be an increased risk for Serotonin Syndrome does not mean that it will occur.

How many times per day should my baby poop?

It depends....: The frequency of bowel movements varies with age. In the first month, babies can have 4-7 stools per day, sometimes after every feed! at about one month, most infants will move their bowels about 1-4 times per day. By about 4 months, some breastfed babies will only need to have a bm once or twice a week! call your doctor if you are not sure.

Is it normal for my baby to breastfeed and not have a bowel movement for days?

Yes: Usually after the first few weeks the pattern of stooling can change from after every feed to every two or three days, sometimes even longer. If the baby is urinating, gaining weight and is comfortable this is not a problem.
A member asked:

What should I do if my babys had a fever for five days, and tylenol (acetaminophen) isnt making it better?

Call your doctor: When your baby has had fever for more than 3-5 days that does not seem to be resolving, they need to be examined to determine if the cause is serious and what treatment is required. Don't forget that a baby can be sick without a fever, and as a parent, you know your child best. Fever is just a symptom, and by itself is not harmful and is part of the bodies natural immune response to illness.

I have extreme cramps and back pain the first day I get my period so bad and it last awhile and pain meds don't help could this be something serious?

Probably not: In younger women congestive dysmenorrhea can be very severe just before and the first 1-2 days of the cycle. If the symptoms are so severe consider using oral contraceptives which will relieve the symptoms. Talk to your gynecologist about it.
