Recent mri showed a 5.3cm x 4.3cm 6.8cm mass on my ovary "suggestive of endometrioma"- how likely is it that this could actually be cancer?

MRI: MRI is usually very good at characterizing the type of cyst. When characterized as endometrioma the cyst is not cancer.

There is often: overlap of imaging features between the various cystic ovarian masses, which includes endometrioma. Management depends on your age, clinical history, and specific imaging features. Do you have a history of endometriosis? Are you premenopausal? If so, endometrioma may be likely. Serial follow may be all that is necessary. Speak with your doctor about what this findings mean in your case.
