My alt is 99 u/l range 6-65 u/l and my ast is 42 u/l range 15-37 u/l in april my alt was 69 u/l and ast was 30 u/l. what could be the cause?

Mild elevation: What you are describing is a very mild elevation in hepatic panel labs. This is consistent with possibly mild liver inflammation. This can be from alcohol drinking. It can also be from a mild viral illness. The bigger question is why were these checked in the first place? It would not be a bad idea to monitor these levels in the near future since you now know there is a slight elevation in LFTs
