A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: You may not be adequately treating the acid, or you may have an issue other than the fermentable saccharides. Take PPI 1/2 hr before food for best effect, and consider a higher dose or use 2x a day to decrease your acid. Gas can also be an issue with carbonation, swallowing air when chewing, high fiber intake, bacterial overgrowth,, gluten intake etc. See GI if not responding as expected.
