Gastritis: PPI should help gastritis and gerd but sometimes the dose has to be increased. I would also follow a bland,low fat diet,avoid caffeine,nicotine and alcohol as well. If symptoms persist or worsen, a gastroenterologist is best qualified to evaluate,treat, and advise you.
