Yes: The hope after septoplasty is that you'll no longer need them. Mild crusting and swelling may persist for the next few weeks. Gentle saline irritations may help also.

Septoplasty: I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to, but you should discuss this with your ENT. Afrin nasal spray is sometimes also used after this procedure to help with soft tissue swelling. Good luck!
