Zanaflex (tizanidine): If you haven't tried zanaflex, (tizanidine) you might want to give this a go. Quite frankly, I usually use botox in this scenerio and have about a 90% success rate.

Tension headache: It sounds like you may have tension headache - this is caused typically by tight neck muscles and the pain comes up and wraps around head like a band. Sometimes caffeine can help - or exdedrin headache is a good OTC remedy for this. Also advil (ibuprofen) or alleve. As always if this does not help in a few days consult your physician and other issues may be causing the problem. Good luck

Tension headache: Headaches can be very complex. If this is something that has been bothering you with little relief despite Ibuprofen, Tylenol, (acetaminophen) and muscle relaxers, it may be a good idea to get a consultation from a headache specialist. Some neurologists receive special training in headaches. Simple steps to help are regular exercise, good sleep hygiene, stretching, hydration, and heating/cooling. Good luck!
