Spasm: It sound S like you may be having a spasm. Some of the pars spinal muscles insert on the back of the head and so it is not uncommon for spasm to associated with headache as well. Thee is usually an underlying cause for the spasm and there are other possibilities as well, I would not hesitate to be seen.
