A member asked:

What are the main symptoms of hypothyroidism in women after menopause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fatigue: Symptoms of hypothyroidism are fatigue, being cold, constipation, dry skin, loss of outer eyebrow, being puffy and change in cholesterol. Speak with your physician about having your thyroid profile done. I would recommend checking a free T3 (liothyronine) as well since this seems to be low in menopausal women in my practice.
