I also have high white blood cell count in my blood. can a severe form of bacterial vaginosis cause this since i was diagnosed yesterday at the er?

Typically no: Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is a more localized infection of the vagina and typically does not cause more systemic symptoms like fever chills or an elevation in your white blood cell count. You should see your doctor though if you continue to feel not well.

Infections raise WBC: Any form of infection can raise your white blood cell count. If you remain concerned, or if the count was markedly high (over about 20K), you could have your doctor repeat it after the infection has been treated. It should have resolved by then. If it remains elevated, additional causes can be sought.
