Is bad breath due to a sinus infection or maybe something worse?

Maybe: Sinus infections can certainly do that. Are you having any nasal symptoms like congestion, purulent nasal discharge, facial pain? There are many other reasons for halitosis though: from simple postnasal drip, to food and bacteria on your teeth and tongue, to a problem with the tonsils.

Several causes: Bad breath could be from a sinus infection, gastric reflux, or gum disease.
