Won't kill you: Pineal cysts are common (seen in as many as 5% of brain MRIs), usually don't cause any symptoms, and are most often found when imaging studies are done for another reason. Your physician can give you more information when you go back to discuss results and your other symptoms.

Pineal cyst: It is common to find a pineal cyst on MRI. A lot of people have these. It is a benign condition. When it is this small there is nothing to worry about. Only in children with much larger cysts is there usually a problem. Your's is fine. It will DEFINITELY NOT kill or hurt you. The pineal cyst could not cause your symptoms. Now it is important to have a plan to help each of those.
