Near syncope: Near syncope is the description of symptoms that lead up to passing out, but not reaching that point. They can include dizziness, fatigue, visual disturbances, auditory disturbances, diaphoresis (clammy feeling), shakiness, and many other symptoms. Near syncope can be caused by many things, such as being in a hot kitchen with poor ventilation, dehydration, infection, malnutrition, and others.
