Maybe: We have had tremendous success fixing many underbites with just braces and no surgery. That said, sometimes braces can only do so much and surgery is required. As some of the other docs noted (like Dr. Mallerman), none of us will really know if braces can fix it or not without an examination. Go see not 1 but at least 2 orthodontist to get some opinions.
