Up to you: Braces are only needed if you are having trouble speaking or chewing/eating. For cosmetic purposes, if you like the way your teeth are, that's great! if you don't like the way they look, braces can definitely straighten them. See your local orthodontist for a consultation, if your underbite is severe, you may need more than braces.
