Yes: Even though you do not feel the lump, you do feel groin pain though! Also ultrasound of inguinal region and testicles should answer your doubts.

Ultrasound correct: if the ultrasound documented a hydrocele, it is. An ultrasound will differentiate a hernia from the hydrocele.
