Agree with above. Additionally not all ultrasounds are conclusive for the presence/absence of a hernia. A physical examination by skilled and experienced physician/Surgeon is critically important also. Lymph nodes, hernias, infection, all remain a possibility. CT scan may be helpful.

Maybe fat?: If you are overweight, it could simply be extra fat in your public area, and maybe even spinal disc problems from vein overweight as well. It's a bit more complex than this however, and really requires a visit to the doctor for a more complete history and physical examination. If you have already been to a doctor, consider getting a second opinion.
