Yes: Many psychiatric medications can cause problems with short term memory. This can be worse when medications are being changed or adjusted. Sometimes the memory problems resolve once your body becomes used to them. If memory problems do not resolve, then medications may need to be changed or adjusted by your psychiatrist.
