No,: However, alcohol causes disinhibition and may decrease anxiety. The decrease in anxiety may help with social skills, but the disinhibition can cause really poor judgement which could lead to many faux pas.

Social alcohol: In this regard, alcohol removes normal human inhibitions. So alcohol can make one more social, but generally not in a good way. This removal of inhibitions can lead to self destructive and inappropriate behavior.
