Ankle bruise: The opponent kicked your ankle? Welcome to soccer! It's probably a bruise or sprain. No playing or running for 5 days. If the pain gets worse or swells please go to your doctor. Also in the future for this type of injury please apply cold to the area immediately as long as the skin is intact. I use a cold soda can, bag of ice or bag of frozen vegetables when I have a sports collision.
