What you describe may be related to swelling in your throat that is caused by allergies. You may also be experiencing nasal congestion, runny eyes and nose, itching, sneezing etc. Try antihistamine or Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and lots of water. You may also have infection and need to be seen.
