Squads: NO. you have burn fat slowly over time by doing cardiovascular type exercises such as walking, running and biking. Squads will build more muscles (gluteal, hamstrings and quads). Of course when you have more muscles it does help burn more fat, but other exercises and cutting back of carbs and fat are more important

Thigh size: Agree with Dr. Hasan. Squats and other exercises can help to tone your muscles. But it will not cause you to lose fat in one specific part of your body.
