Maybe: All of the docs on Healthtap are licensed to practice in the United States. Some may also be licensed to practice in the UK but that is not common. Got hida scan of gallbladder, ejection was 94% which is good. But am bein sent to Genral surgeon and dont know why. Why would this happen?
Hida scan results ef 12% but no stones. Surgeon wants to remove to relieve symptoms of chronic burping, pressure/poking, etc. How accurate is hida?
Is HIDA scan useless? I have gallbladder symptoms. HIDA EF 11%, CT and US normal. Surgeon will remove gallbladder though not encouraging that it will help symptoms, despite HIDA result. Does HIDA result mean anything at all? Thanks?
