Gall bladder: Despite the normal hida scan, you may still have gall stones, polyp or sludge in the gall bladder but no obstruction. If you have either of these along with gall bladder type symptoms or large polyp, removal of the gall bladder may be recommended. Of course your physician who knows all the facts of your case is best qualified to answer your question.

Symptoms ? : Do you have classic GB symptoms ?? That might be the reason. (I assume you had an US done that showed no gallstones?) HIDAs are good for showing obstructions of the gallbladder outlet but not so good at picking up random stone pain. Did you have pain when they gave you the CCK ?? If your studies are all normal and you had no pain with the HIDA I would look for another cause of your pain
