BP : Assuming CCF stands for heart failure in which case these numbers are acceptable.

Likely Normal, But..: Blood pressure ranging from 102-116 systolic (higher number) and from 59-70 diastolic (lower number) are considered to be within the normal range. However, given the patient's age, it is probably more important how the patient feels, particularly if he/she is being medicated for hypertension. Someone with a systolic BP which averages 180 will feel lightheaded at 102. Discuss with your primary.

It is Low BP: This the effect of medications with underlying cardiac status. Furosemide is a diuretic and reduces blood Volume. Seretide,Haldol (haloperidol) and Hydromorphone also brings down BP. If he is in hospital for Pneumonia and suspected sepsis he must be in ICU.And under very able Intensive medical specialist' s care. I wish him complete recovery.
