Ask your MD first.: Start Paxil (paroxetine) 20 mg and stop Zoloft. Wait 2 weeks. If you need higher dose go up to 30. There are differences in 5HT receptor activity. Also differ with histamine, Dopamine and Noradrenergic activity. Take the Paxil (paroxetine) in the morning as it tends to be "activating" Watch for allergy (as you would with any new med) also watch for serotonergic syndrome (muscle stiffness, elevated BP, HR, temp, confusion)
