Weight loss: Decrease total caloric intake. To get started do not change your diet just reduce the amount you eat. When successful, concentrate on fruits and vegetable + basic dairy as main caloric intake and "taste" other foods. Minimize carbs and alcohol. NEVER EAT FAST FOOD or DRINK POP. They are calorie rich and nutritionally useless.

Weight loss comes down to burning more calories than you take in. You can do that by reducing extra calories from food and beverages, and increasing calories burned through physical activity.
