Not usually.: But possible. The pain of pe is often worse with inspiration but not always. Pe is often one sided but again not always. Would expect a bilateral pe to produce some problems with breathing.

Yes: But there are many more common causes unless there are signs of clotting swelling heart failure. To determine see your pcp and sort it out.
